I have my second Acer tablet. It, like the first one has stopped charging. I contacted Acer about the first one and because it was still under warranty, they sent me a new tablet. Great, all is well. Now less than six months later, the new tablet has stopped charging....

Small problem become big deal, thanks to Acer CS

I just bought a laptop on 24/12/15 and after 2 days, the keyboards button start to fell of, total 3 buttons fell off, to avoid having to go to Acer service centre which were located in Jurong and not really accessible by public transport, i decide to just put back these buttons by myself. After few days, these buttons keep falling off and finally I give up and decide to come to Acer Service Centre. This Teo Thiam Soon, the *** who service me, change the first 2 buttons quickly, however after I ask about the 3rd button, he refused to repair it since "It was not damaged". I request him to change since that button also easily fell off, then this *** started to argue. 1. he accused me to purposely *** my own keyboard button. Oh wow, yeah I purposely *** my laptop keyboard so I have to book a cab, 20$ 1 way to Acer Service Centre, the journey took ard 30 mins 1 way, queuing for 20 mins, and argue with this *** for 20 more minutes, all this on purpose? Do you even train your customer service think first before you speak? 2. He threat to charge me with money and that at first he agree to help repair my keyboard out of his goodwill. Oh wow, I just bought this laptop for 2 weeks and this *** want to ask money for Acer own defects? SERIOUSLY? 3. He blame me not to thoroughly check the laptop when I bought it at the first time, and keyboard defect is entirely my fault.. Oh wow, should i stay for 1 week inside acer shop just to make sure that my laptop will be perfectly fine before I can take it home? Then what the purpose having service center? What is the purpose of hiring you, Teo Thiam Soon? Acer, how come you hire such an *** customer service, no manner and so rude? No wonder most of your review here were bad.

They stolen my monitor,, said they didn't recieve it,, I sent it in the original box they sent it back in a recycled box,, their thief on the dock signed for what was sent to them. !!!! I want my flippen monitor back damnit !!!!what does a guy do ,, them things that work there are no good,, they need to be behind bars doin hard time !!!! Them theiven bastards ,,,, I will never ever buy ACER again ,, and all people I know will be on allert to the *** that works at the ACER repair shop on temple texas

ACERS SUCK!!!!

Thinking buying an ACER computer? DON’T! If you are going to throw money away, throw it my way. I made the mistake of buying an ACER Aspire 722 Netbook and within 3-4 months, the case split and a piece fell out. Not only that but the keys stick, it’s slow even with 2 GB RAM and the touch pad has a mind of its own. Some programs I get a flickering line that doesn’t go away. ACER will not back their warranty. When I called customer service, I got some East Indian guy that does his best to void your warranty starting with the case is not covered under warranty. Then he wants you to mail in your computer (at your expense) while they evaluate it for CID (customer induced damage) to void your warranty, but the excuses are endless. I took it to a local repair shop and they said they would have to remove the screen and take the case apart which would void my warranty and recommended I contact ACER, which I did. I ended up contacting a corporate office in Texas and was given an email address of cicserviceops@tx.acer.com where I addressed my issues with ACER. Not only did I get no response, when I emailed again, my mail was returned. They will make it impossible for you to have them honor their warranty. They will make you jump thru every hoop imaginable to not honor their product. My computer guys also said that ACER was their #1 for repairs. Another friend of mine had endless problems with her ACER also. On a personal experience, I sat on my new dual LCD camera and broke the lens. I called Samsung and they only asked for my serial number and said it was under warranty. NO OTHER questions asked. That's kind of Ironic. I have only bought Acer's since 2006 and I am on my 3rd one that I just bought this month.

My first one lasted about 3 years, but that's because I used it hard and did not take very good care of it. My second one still works that I got in 2009 but is very outdated and I wanted a newer one. Both my older one and my new one work great! No problems.

Maybe you bought a dud? It happens.

Infected w/viruses after installing Spyware w/ VeVACER

Very poor customer service w/Jimmy at ACER. HE INSTALLED Spyware, Malware. Mozilla, etc., at my cost of $189 in Dec. 2012. It was ineffective. When I called back to complain w/him I was disconnected, calls were not returned, he told me I was calling India instead of New York. It was "my responsibility to call the company that installed the Spyware, etc., to ask for a refund," when it was ACER's/Jimmy who lied to me, and reassured me that my computer would be fine. Supreet Singh wanted to sell me another program for $169 to correct the program bought for $189, in Dec. 2012. It is now Jan, 11, 2013. It is such a sorry and poor computer and customer service completely SUCKS!!!! Do not ever buy an ACER computer ever. FRAUD!!

Acer is a piece of junk!

These are junk. I had better write this quick before it crashes again. I have sent this back twice and I am still getting the blue screen of death. I have had it for 10 months and will never buy another one. Each time they get it they do nothing to it. I got it back this week and already the problems are evident. My year is running out. Extended warranties are useless. They will never fix this. I will never buy another one. Apparently when I explain the problem to the Indians the idiots in texas are not aware of it. I should have known, king george is from texas and he was one of the worst we ever had. Why should I expect a repair center located there to be any different.

I own an Acer and when I learned they had problems with the "black screen of death" I went on You-Tube and learned how to fix it. It was easy and very inexpensive (about $30 for a memory stick)

Avoid ACER computers - They Are Junk!

Notebook 6930 purch. Dec. 08 has been in five times for failures and comes back with used parts, then fails after a few hours. Failures include RAM Hard Drive, BIOS (Flash) and software BIOS. Also power supply. Most components have failed three times. Repair dept. is unable to correct any of the problems and seems to be ordered to fix the unit with used or any available parts and ship back to customer. Numerous letters and memos sent to adm and repair (Temple Hill, TX) go unanswered. Very dissatisfied with Acer. I will join a class-action suit. Federal authorities should investigate this consumer fraud.

My unbiased opinion is ACER"s are Junk

I have one used it a long time ,it showed me how to swear.

The keyboard is flawed and the cursor jumps where it wants when it wants.

It is impossible to compose an email without jumping back and forth and correcting and editing what acer thought wouwhy screw aroundld be appropiate composition...get a Toshiba
