Bought Acer Chromebook at walmart 11/27/17. purchased 2 year product Care Plan 12/04/17.
Worked great until last week. Stopped dead. No power. Called Acer tech.
followed all suggestions. nothing. told me to sen laptop to Acer in Texas at my cost: $53.44. may or may not repair at their discretion.
Product care plan refused to service as laptop still under 1 year warranty with Acer. If PCP had agreed to service, they would have paid shipping. This is outrageous! PCP cost $45.00.
I thought I was covered. Not! Now I habve to wait at the mercy of Acer. They may or may not repair.
Item seems defective! Contract is extremely tiny print. Who can read it? Even with magnifying glass, could not.
My recommendation? Avoid Acer. Avoid Walmart. Do not fall for PCP.
Waste of money. Now I am back at my good old desktop which is as old as I am.
Don't ask. Help please.
