If they keep on staying a computer has Windows 11 PRO Install on it, And it doesn,t , I will not buy another computer from them, In the future,

Make shureI bought a Acer Travelmate P215-53 series laptop. On July 20th / 2023, From Visions Electronics, In Regina, Sk. The salesmen was looking for a laptop for me on there computer, He found the accer laptop, That i was interested in, I ask him if it was a Windows 11 laptop, He told me it was, Any ways when i get it home, And set it up, After the setup was finish, I could clearly see , That it was not a windows 11 laptop, I could tell because i had a Windows 11 laptop , From before, That was a dedicated Windows 11 laptop, So i went to get the box , That it come in, It clearly showed on the spec label on the end of the box, That it was a Windows 10 laptop, So then i check Visions Site, It shows on the site also that it is a windows 11 laptop, Then i started looking on the web, For reviews on it, Acer is showing, That it is a windows 11 laptop. This company , Should be charged, For false advertizing of a product, But there not the only computer manufacture doing that,

We purchased the very expensive Acer Swift7, SF713-51-M7ER, Model: N16Q11 (60k+). We should have known something was already wrong when the cashier attempted to charge us twice for the unit due to her own error. For the first 6 months, the unit worked well- in fact we were quite impressed with the travel size and features. Sadly, it was not long before the SSD drive failed and the laptop would not recognize the hardware. All data, photos, and music lost in a instance. More importantly, both the Negros Oriental and Cebu Acer dealers designated for tech support would nor could not fix nor replace the SSD drive and refused to reinstall the operating system even we could find another SSD drive similar to the mini SSD inside the laptop (apparently smaller than the average laptop SSD). Soon after, the system gel battery failed and began expanded in the unit. The bottom of the laptop was separating from the chassis and had to be removed. In the process, a few screws were lost. Bottomline, no one would repair the unit during the warranty period nor after the warranty ended! We gave up on their horrible support and simply fixed the laptop ourselves through other support services. Sadly, we have purchased a few Acer products with similar horrendous support. My Acer laptop won't connect to my Wi-Fi

It stopped connecting to Wi-Fi. I've only had it for approximately 5 months. I have four other devices that work fine with my Wi-Fi, including one old Acer Chromebook. I'm using Google Chrome on all devices. This computer (cp514-3h - r202) connected until last week. It would periodically lose its connection but would connect without problems. The message I receive is can't contact gateway, but there's no problem with the other devices connecting. Won't let me connect now, and I'm using the correct password.

Warranty fraud

Staples sent the laptop away for diagnosis and it needed a new battery. Since I have emailed, called and been totally ignored by Acer. They had me call a USA number first and I asked if they served Canada. They told me some IT store does but number didn't work. When I finally emailed they asked me to send a pic of laptop receipt from Acer and when I did, no reply to date. Staples saying they cannot help with 2 year extended warranty purchased. So I now must buy my own battery and the 1 year warranty is a fraudulent.

I tried to call Acer and I gave them my computer information they said that my warranty is expired so they transferred me to a 3rd Party Customer Support Representative He Said That They Don't Do BIOS Updates Over The Phone I don't recommend calling them unless you have an active warranty

What customer service….?

We bought a Acer Nitro 5 Gaming Laptop | AN517-41 | Black which wouldnt take power on delivery. We tried 2 sockets, double checked the sockets then called customer service. The only advice we had was to take the laptop to a retailer that sells Acer products. I explained there are no Acer retailers in the area so I had to take it to Currys. This was embarrassing and awkward as we were asking for help from a retailer who didnt sell us the product. Thankfully, they know how unreliable Acer are and offered us help. We had been offered £200 to keep the broken/non-functioning laptop if we went away and didnt ask for a weekend then were sent off for 2 days with no customer service support after we went through the trial of taking the product to a different retailer. It is now Monday and I have tried contacting customer service again. I have been offered 7-10 days with no laptop, no money and no guarantee I will get my money back or a replacement product at the same price. I asked to speak with a customer service manager and was told no one was available for the rest of the day and at an undefined time tomorrow, a manager will call me. Is that normal, no managers free for a full day and we continue to run down the 14 day returns deadline. style="background-color: All in all, this has been an appealing service, my son is heartbroken he has no laptop, that he co-funded, despite us ordering it in time for his Birthday and I am racing up against a returns deadline.

Extremely poor customer service and repairs

I sent my sister's laptop for an investigation to repair. I received confirmation that they had it on 17th August. To this day (8th October) they are refusing to tell me what is happening with my laptop. When I speak to someone on the phone, they are rude, hanging up on me on several occasions and giving me misleading information. I have since only corresponded via email, and they continue to tell me nothing about the repair, not telling me what the problem is, offering to return it, nothing. It seems clear to me that they have lost my laptop and are hoping I forget they have it. This is the worst customer service I have ever experience. Before I would recommend their products, now I tell everyone to stay clear due to their appalling customer service.

I never had an issue with Microsoft. Microsoft is amazing and so is ther customer support and technical support. I have issues with acer support. They do not stand by there own products.

Terrible customer service

My brand-new monitor stopped working 1 HOUR after unboxing it. It was sent in for repair and after a few days I was told it was awaiting a spare part. 34 days later after no news on the spare part I receive an email saying it was repaired and dispatched. I rang customer service to change the delivery address as I'd move house, but I was told to ignore the email as they were actually refunding me! I had bought the monitor using a 20% off discount code, so they were going to refund me the discounted price and expected me to then pay full price for a new monitor. I suggested they simply send me a new monitor (which is what I'd assumed they would do in the first place) but they refused to do this giving multiple excuses as to why this wasn't possible. I almost forgot to mention their useless customer service reps who can only tell you what you already know. They also must use a call centre in India as it was very difficult to understand some of their accents and the amount of background noise on the calls was horrendous. I could hear at least 3 other reps talking in the background on more than 1 occasion. I am going to take the refund and will never buy another product from Acer again after the experience I had
